Assuming that you are referring to the term "in context", it means in the simplest form, the environment that something has been created in. If you have parts in an assembly and from the assembly you create a sketch on one of those parts within that assembly, the sketch has been created in theenvironment (or context)of that assembly and now has "in context" references to that assembly because it was created there. If you edit a sketch "in context" it will take you back to where it was created from. The same holds true if you create a feature on a part from an assembly environment without editing the part within that environment, the feature will only exist within that environment and not exist on the part itself. Therefore the feature exists in the context of the assembly and not the context of the part. I hope this confusing attempt to explain it helps you.
