Hi,
I'm working on a WORKING cable chain in Solidworks, and so far i have created one, with several shackles (?!). Now, inserting the coincident mates is not the problem. al the shackles are linked and they can all move as i want them.
As a cable chain normaly does too, i want this one to have a minimum angle of 0 degrees, and a maximum of 30 degrees. In advanced mates i've tryed many times to add the min.-max. mates, but after moving the chain, all the shackles seperate, and every part gives errors.
I found out that if i make the same thing with only 3 shackles, they all work fully as i want to.
I'm unable to add the file, so if someone accepts this challenge, please reply, so i can send you the file directly.
i hope anyone knows what to do
