guys,

i was searching for animation tool in solidworks, am using solidworks -2006. any help on this topic will be of great help. please tell me whether it comes as a seperate package?

I am not sure what version you are running, Standard, Office or Premium,

It has been awhile since I was on 2006 but if you look at the bottom of
your window with an assembly open you should see some tabs, one is
probably called Model or the assembly name and the other might say
Motion Study.

If you do not see those then your version does not have it, you might also
check by going to Tools/Add Ons/ menu and see if it is an option you can
check to add.

Good luck,
Gary

Hi - I am also trying to figure out how to animate something!

I would like more of a simulation, though...I need to show pipes filling with different colored liquids, etc. And I need to represent evaporation and condensation somehow. Is this doable with Solidworks?

I tried using the COSMOS to do it, but it just shows streamlines. My animation is for explanation, not analysis.

I am using SolidWorks 2008 SP3.1 Office Professional and also have eDrawings, COSMOS, DWGeditor, PDMWorks, and Solidworks Explorer.

Any help at all would be appreciated!
