I am trying to analyze deflection of rings in an assembly. I figured out most of the boundary conditions, except for contact features. There is a No Penetration and Free (No Interaction) options under Global Contact Set. I don't want any of the individual parts to have interference among themselves. No Penetration analysis takes hours to solve, and I don't know what Free (No Interaction) is. This is my first time doing an assembly FEA analysis using SolidWorks and COSMOSWorks. Could anybody please help me figure out the right way to set up the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,
