Settings of parts created in context

Hi all,

I am using SW 2006; when I create a new part in an assembly and open it to get rid of unwanted relations, the sketcher always displays the grid (which I don't use) and dimensions are set to display only two digits after the decimal point.

Does anyone know how to change these settings?

Many thanks in advance,

Edoardo

Hi

You can go to the Tools menu and on the Document Properties you can change these otions (grid ...).

If you want to have these otions set alwys you must make a template for yours parts, set these otions and use this template.

Hi nucu, and thanks for your reply.

Problem solved: both my part and assembly templates were already set to have three decimal digits and no grid displayed - I just had to tell SW to look for those templates in the System Options.
