Holes in cylinder

jonkers

New member
I need to put holes evenly placed around a cylinder.

I thought about doing an extrude and not merging it then doing a patern and then combine them together, to cut them out.

This dosent work or i cant make it work because the only way i know how
to do it is with a temp axis and there isnt any round ones.

any help would be great.

Thanks

jonkers.

Hello Jonkers,

I don't know if you have an answer already, but this is solution.

- make a cylinder.

- click the face of the cylinder and then insert a hole by using a hole wizard

- in menu view select temperary axes visible

- insert a circulair pattern (use the temperary axes for pattern axes)

Now you have a cylinder with holes around the surface

Good luck
