Question about cosmosworks

New member
Hello,

I have a metal construction which weight is 1200 kg. Diameter 3650 mm height 50 mm. On this construction I have table which weight 800 kg and a man 100kg. I try to make analysis with cosmosworks 2006 sp 2.0.

But I dont know how big force must I give. 1200 + 900= 2100kg=21000N/m2 or I must just give the weight of the man and the table - 900 kg - 9000 N/m2.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Regards

Chris

Hi,

If you have modeled only construction then you have to input Force equivalent to Human + table. If yoy have modeled construction plus table then input force equivalent to human weight. To include force coming from condtruction weight you only have to input gravity acceleration (apple icon) and set up correct vector of it.

That's all
