I am creating now bottom and legs ot storage tank with solidworks 2006. And can't create the mesh. Cosmosworks is giving me these answer : " Mesh is diverging. Use smaller element size."

How can I create the smallest element size in cosmosworks?

Hristov,

In COSMOSWork 2006, there's an option call Apply Control in the mesh sub menu. You could identify the area that the mesh fails and use this option to refine the mesh at this localized area.

Hope this helps.

Chris,

If you right click the mesh icon and pick options it is possible to set autotransition, this refines the mesh at corners etc, and to set another option that makes the mesh generator loop refining the mesh each time it fails, sorry I've forgoten the name of that option.

. They were very useful. I made idealisation of the model. Which I have not done before. But now I have other problems with analysis
