Automatic Drawing Dimensions

I'm having trouble getting my sketched dimensions to show in
drawings. When I created my part, I marked all the sketched
dimensions as "dimensions to be imported into a drawing". In my
drawing, I went to tools>options>system options>drawings, and
checked the box next to "Automatically place dimensions inserted from
model". I then went to Document properties>details and under
the "Auto insert on view creation" section placed a check in the box
labeled "Dimensions marked for drawing". I created one drawing a
few days ago which worked (I was able to import all the dims from my
sketched entities), but since then, for some reason, I haven't been
able to import model dimensions into my drawing views. Anyone
have any idea what's going on?

Thanks for your help,

Aaron

I've never tried the method you describe, but this is what I do:

Select a modle view in your drawing where you want your dimensions. Then:

Insert >Model Items

You'll have options to select....then click OK. The dimensions
(and any other type of annotation you selected) should appear in your
drawing view.

Good Luck
