i have recently installed pre production wildfire on two machines. one p4 ibm another sun blade 100.in p4 ibm sketcher is very very slow to respond but in sun it is ok.
is there any config settings to increase the perfomence
It could be your video card on your Pentium 4. What kind do you have? Pro/E uses OPEN GL. Set your config.pro option GRAPHICS to WIN32_GDI. This forces Pro/E to use software rendering rather than using your video card for 3D hardware rendering. If this fixes your sketcher problem, then it means it's the video card.
