How to make part transparent in assembly?

Does anyone know how to make one of the parts transparent in the assembly? Thanks.

You must first define such setting - transparency - for the color which is reserved for intended model.

Then it is only up to turn on the transparency display in

View> Display Setting > Model Display > Shade > Transparency

Assign the standard PTC glass if you have it. Better to assign the material in part mode.

The transparency in ProE is awful.


When you use it and animation is rednered you will see the shadow of the object, when it's disapear.


Try to use some tricks with some movie editing software.

In WF4 it can be applied with a style state.
