If you wish to know how to assemble two gear pairs (assuming modelled with TEETH), Define a point on the PCD of both the gears such that if one point is on the crest of one gear the corresponding point on the other gear should be on the valley. mate the two POINTs.
IMP: Having applied this constraint, your gears will not rotate. Hence after applying the constraint, take a snapshot and save it as the Initial condition for the mechanism and then REMOVE the constraint.
