Make a copy of an assembly

When I make a copy of an assembly, I can reuse or rename the parts of the assembly. This is no problem, but I want to rename all the parts of the assembly. And the names of the parts must have this structure:

- Xxyyfsyu-01-1000
- Xxyyfsyu-01-1001
- Xxyyfsyu-01-1002
- Xxyyfsyu-01-1003
- Xxyyfsyu-01-1004

The original name of the parts was not "Xxyyfsyu" but a name at random.

Can anybody tell me if there is a simple and fast way to do this?
I have tried to use the "naming rule" (see picture below), but this wont work.

Thanks in advance

Geert,

I usually back up the whole works into a new directory, and do all my renaming there, with all the assemblies and drawings in session. Then in windows transfer everything back into the original directory, and delete the new directory.
