Hi Hope Someone can help me out hereI started out some years ago on pro/e 2001 mainly because it was the package being used at uni atthe time, However afterstarting toworkon acontract basisI decidedto take on board wildfire 3 I have now done this and feeling ok with the new packagebut I have just landed a job with a company that use wildfire 2 can anyone tell me if their isany difference in the two as a far as the interface screen goesand is their any nasty surprises in store for me. Thanks Peter

The 2 biggest areas of change for "normal" users is with:

Sketcher -- (small useful enhancements from WF2->WF3)
Component Placement -- (Interface change from WF2->WF3)

What beyond the basics are you using?

Also, the measure function has changed. I personally like WF 2.0 better for it. But then again I haven't used 3.0, just seen it used quickly.

Yeah, the measure command is not user-friendly.

We have to make more mouse-clicks and give inputs in the WF3.

I appreciate the measure command of WF2.
