Crashing of ProE while in Assembly

Hi all,


I really need help on this one...While in asembly mode, I try to assemble a part into an assembly and ProE crashes when I rotate only the part.


I also try to convert my insert/align into a pin connection and it just won't convert it. I don't believe it's an invalid combination.


I am using WF3.0 M060.

First problem, likely a graphics driver problem.

Hi check out the std.out file in your working directory.open it ina notepad and see the errors listed.

It may be virtual memory problem, try to increase the size virtual memory size.

I experiance similar issues, the crashing may or may not be a graphics issue (we run all fully supported hardware) and it still happens intemittently.


As for pin connections, since WF2 and now WF3 I have become resigned that it is often more robust to assembly a 'pin' joint by doing a seperate cylinder connection and planar connection. I find that in any thing but the simplest assembly Pin connection often behave in strange ways, including causing crashes.

Try with older M030 (WF3) and see if it crashes.
