Including twist and taper in an extrusion

Hello again,

Another question just pops to mind.

If I have a 2D section that I wish to extrude, is it
possible for me to define a twist axis and have
twist introduced along the extrusion? Would blade
taper also be a possibility (ie reducing the chord-wise
length along the extrusion)?

I have tried a few things out, but I keep on getting
a bog-standard straight extrusion.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Try a blend.

Twist is introduced by changing the start point of the differnt sketches.

I'm not sure what you mean by changing the start point.

Could you explain a bit more. I'm still a bit of a newbie at Pro-e.

When you create each sketch in the blend, there is an arrow that is attached to one of the points that indicates the start popint of the sketch. You can rmb onanother point to change the start point of the sketch. when you go to feature operations>toggle sketch to make the next level sketch you can change its start point to introduce twist.

PM meyour email, I have a short explanation with images to clarify.
