hi all
I need to insert a special hatching into my drawing...to let y know, the hatching is in order to represent cement........in the Pro/ENGINEER library, there is no file .*xch for cement.
but i have got it from an other software library as *.dwg.
so is there some technic to convert this dwg to xch?? or at least if i can convert from other extension to xch!
thanks

Hi streamm

I'm in the concrete business too and have tried to get a decent look at the cross sections. The posibilities are unfortunately very limited in *.xch files you can only use well defined line styles and not the mixed concrete look.

Sometimes we uses symbols on the X-section area as a very poor workaround. It gives the drawing the desired look but looses allmost everything regarding drawing update when we change the parts.

I have logged calls at PTC but without any result.

If you come towards a solution I'm very interested
