i am looking to do partial x sections on a drawing of an assembly, in other word i have an assembly and just want to x section the outer body and no other part....???
By default the xsec will cut all the parts. However, you can double click on the xhatching in the drawing and then exclude the components you don't want to cut. You will have to redraw the view to see the change.
