Views of fold & unfold in drawing

in your model create the unbend, then create a instance called let's say x_unbend.prt, and put the unbend feature with yes for the instance and suppress it from generic.

Then in your drawing add a view of the generic which is in bend state. Then add the instance model to the drawing:right click on the drawing/ drawing models /add model and add the instance. And add a view for the instance which is in unbend state.

You could make a simplified representation in part and use exclude features to show the unbend state, but it's not working in drawing for a part. The simp rep field in view properties window is inactive.

To use these part simp reps you must create a assembly and there to create a new simp rep to use the simp rep from part. A very long thing to do.

I always use instances for unbend states and they work fine.

Ok thanks for your reply........
