Using a .PCG point cloud in Solidworks

I have a .pcg file (which is Autocad's point cloud ext) that I need to open in Solidworks. However Solidworks does not recognize the file extension. I have tried to rename the file in hope that I would be able to open it in solidworks. Is there anyway I can do this?
