hallo everybody,
my problem is a multilayer insulation (MLI) cover, adopted for thermal insulation in space applications.
Up to now in my model it has only been a solid part, as long as it had occupy a volume and represent the inertial properties.
Approaching manufacturing phases, I should unfold this cover, in order tocreate a "cut&glue" paper drawing for MLI prototype preparation..
what is the best strategy..? justrecreate it as a sheetmetal?
are there any other ways to unfold an hollow solid?
best regards,
Edo
