text in an arc

How doI place text on a flat surface but in an arc?

not sure if understand you right but,..., if you want to put text along arc, so in sketcher you pick text icon and in the bottom of this menu you have an option witch allows you to pick entity to control text position

I believe this was also possible in 2001, but you couldn't use Parameter values with the &PARAM_NAME. I definately told them to fix that and would like to thank everyone else who did so. I mean what's the point of using Parameters if you can't use them to save editing time.

Not sure if this is still an active thread but at least in
WF5 its very easy:

In sketcher you can place text on a curve. Then you simply
offset it to your surface (doesnt have to be flat).
