Square profile problem

Hello !


I'm trying to create a part in solidworks of a squared profile such as this: http://www.scope.co.il/images/Fittings/scope/SHS_St_Big.jpg
which is 'rolled' to a perfect circle so that one end of the squared profile touches the other.


im having difficultied figuring out how to do this, can anyone help me?

As far as I know it is not possible that the profile to be closed. Bur you can have a very small gap (say 0.000001 mm).

The circle must be an arc < 360 deg.

Just sweep the square profile through a circle, it will work with a full circle of 360
