Spring having Oblong Xn

Hi Frnds any one can help me? i need to create a helical spring having Oblong cross section. I tried in Helical sweep, but using this i could only do spring with Circular cross section. if possible can any one guide me for creating helical curve using equation method but oblong cross section. so i could use sweep through that curve.

It's not crystal clear what you intend. If the traj is
an ob-whatever helix like curve ...
