Split long lengths in Drgs

Hi All


I have several long shafts with detailed ends . How can i split them ( / / something like this )so as to fit on to my drawing and just show the two ends inline with taking some of the plain shaft in th middle away ?

add the view to your drawing and instaed of a full view use a broken view, properties/visible area

Can the broken edges be shown as a slanted line / or zig zag ?

you can have straight, sketched or s-curve at least with wf4

Ok I have WF4 but do not see were you produce /have the option to do anything else other then a straight from the point at which you first select break point ???

while in the visible area if you scroll to the right you should see a drop down called break line style. you select from here.

Cant find this drop down menu


If you mean unde properties of one of the split views>visible area and then under direction I have vertical but it is greyed out ( next to 1st and 2nd break line )
