you could actually try this yourself.

I'll give you a suggestion. Make a datum curve from
equation. Make it using a polar coord. system. Then
write an equation to vary r (distance from the csys,
radially) constantly. Also vary theta constantly. This
will create a curve that grows out radially as your
constant increases as well as rotate as your constant
increases. Thus producing a spiral curve.
