show&hide parts

Is there any solution for hide and show parts in mechanism modul? I would like to make a video about a rear running gear, the video is about install all parts and after move them, but the fixed parts cover rotating parts.

Could you make a simplified rep that excludes the components you don't want to see?

What we want to do is show the model complete at the beginning of the animation, then peel layers of parts off to reveal the internal gears, so it would be a process of removing one part at a time. Just looking for suggestions on the best way to do that.

it was possible to use simplify rep in animation back then in pro\e 2001

now, instead you create style states in assembly and then use them in animation

so if You are interested in hiding some of your components create style state where the component is excluded or hidded

Why not do the lot in the animation module, your gears should still work and then you can set them to hide.
