section view

hello,
i want to create the section view for my part. section view
is quarter of the part. i am unable to do it. please help
me.

your section sketch has to extend beyond the part for the section to work. You can then do a partial view in the drawing to just show the part of the section you want.

Use "Offset Plane" instead of "Planar". This will take you to sketch mode, wherein you can sketch your section line. IMP!!! your section line should begin and end outside the part.
