Regarding Dynamic Modelling

it is not clear enough what You mean by dynamic skeleton?

do you want to have a skeleton in assembly?

if so what kind of skeleton - datums planes, surfaces, curves?

in all of them You can not make them changed dynamicaly just for picking and spining

so you must create a relations between them and regenerate each time, or make instances

Hi

IGuess what u want is to move the parts in ur assembly Using a skeleton model.

If that is what it is ......Do it this way .

Insert a skeleton model in ur assy (i hope u know how to do it )

Now open ur skeleton model and Create Datum Points/Axes as Required for

placing ur compnents (i.e. Pivot Points)

Assuming tht u r building a 4-bar Link.....

Now tht u have above mentioned things in ur skeleton model ...start creating the

curves (theserepresent the LENGTH and ORIENTATION of ur Actual

Components ).

While Creating this curves.........

See tht u r referencing the Points or axes which are created earlier.....

If u think tht u cannot make ur points in air (meaning...U dont know the Position

or location of these Points .......) u can first create the curves and create the

Datum points at the Intersection of these curves.

Curves should be Dimensioned by their lengths and the orientation of these

curves W.R.T other curves (LINKS) ....

Once u successfully complete ur skeleton model ..U should have only one

Dimension which u can actually vary ...or modify.

Once u modify this Dimension all the Links (curves) which u have creates should

take their desired positions..(If u do everything correctly)

This is the Procedure to create a Dynamic skeleton...

Hope i had cleared ur doubt , If u feel some thing is missing feel free to ask
