problem with extruded text on curvature

I am trying to etch the numbers for use as num keys for a model.

When i try to select the numbers they are causing a problem.

For details i request you to check the prt file and swf file i have uploaded on 4shared.

i request the forum users to guide me to the mistake i am committing and help me solve the problem.

I use pro/e wf5.

I didn't look at your files but I bet your trying to reference an Illustrator or some sort of 2d iges or dxf file. As that is probably the case one must realize that who ever created those files may not have had line endpoints connected properly etc.

You can also utilize the Illustrator program to export differently so Pro/E can better convert entities.
