Problem with Drawing "Save As" Option

Hi,


Can you pls helpon below problem asap.


Whenever I want touse save as optionfor already created drawing to make one more drawing with lesser information, whatever I delete from the SaveAs copy drawing it is getting deleted in both the drawings. How to avoid this?

Use erase and not delete.

Vlad is correct. Another way is to set the config option create_drawing_dims_only to yes. Then dimensions created in the drawing are saved in the drawing and not the model. Deleting them in one drawing will no longer delete them in a copied drawing. I don't think this setting is retroactive.
