Pro/Mechanica Weld analysis

Dear All
Is possible to create in pro/engineer welds over assembly and then analyse it with pro/mechanica, obtaining for example, the forces and moment on the welding seam to proceed after with hand calculation of the weld?
To obtain these info in ansys, is not necessary to model the weld, is possible this in pro/m?

Yes it is possible, you can use weld tool in Mechanica or can also use already created weld feautre

Not directly, but you can use springs to model welds then extract forces from them.
