Hey,
I have a freeware tooth model (.3ds) that I am turning into a gold tooth tap handle for a friend that I plan on printing out via shapeways or some place like that.
Problem is that when I bring polygon mesh into Pro/E it is useless. It has no solid geomtery, if I select it as a surface to solidify, the solidify option is greyed out.
I have Rhino as well and I was hoping that there is a translation path that allows me to take a polygon mesh and turn it into a solid.
Any suggestions are welcome. If I figure it out on my own I will post my solution here.
Thank you all for your help!
Mike
