Patterning Incrementing Numbers on Curve

I wish to pattern numbers on a PCD. The component is typically a Flange with holes on a certain PCD. The intent is to show either "Protruded" or "Cut" numbers beside the holes so as to identify them. I know that I can "Dimension Pattern" the numbers, "Unpattern" them and then edit them one by one.


Is there a method to automate the process through parameters and relations? A more intelligent way of doing it?

I had to make numbers on a date dial for a mold insert.

I put these relations in the section:

month=12-kd6/30
month_text=ITOS(MONTH)

Where kd6 is an angular dimension between a vertical reference datum and a datum used to orient the sketch.

I put the parameter &month_text in the section text.

Then I patterned the feature. The text increments & revolves. You may not need the revolving part.
