I have a model consisting of rotating flywheelsand rocking components, the whole model needs to be balanced using offset masses attached to the flywheels. The rotational speed is approx 275RPM, mass of structure is approx 10 tonnes, flywheels approx 2m diameter. The structure is bolted to the ground.
How do I determine the out-of-balance forces of the system? I need to be able to graph forces between the mid-front of the structure and ground,and mid-rear of the structure and ground,and minimise these forces.
The structure is symmetrical about the mid-vertical plane.
