I am currently running an investigation on mechatronics. I am now looking for information about the ability offered by exchange norms (STEP AP124 and IDF 3.0 or 4.0) to transfer 3D-models data between ECAD (PCB) and MCAD.
Do you know if a comparative study of those norms (focusing on exchangeable data; electronic and mechanic analysis; ...) has already been conducted ? Or do you know any reference or documents about this subject?
