Mapkey creation

Hi


I have a query on mapkeys creation in ProE. I know to create the mapkeys. I want to know if i can create a mapkey and assign a icon of my choice to it so that i configure my windows so that the new mapkey can be seen.

Tools -> Customize screen

Scroll down to mapkeys

Drag a mapkey to where you want it.

Right click on the mapkey icon -> Edit Button Image.

Hello Neuro


Thanks for the immediate response. It worked. I wanna go a step ahead and try to place an icon of my choice instead of the smiley. I tried but i was unable to do. Would wannna know if this is possible. Probably something which is not available in the list of icons provided.

To draw your own icon:
Edit -> Customize screen; Right click on the mapkey icon -> Edit Button Image

For custom images:
Create an image (with an image editor of your choice) 20 x 20 pixels. Copy it to the clipboard, then in pro/e:
Edit -> Customize screen; Right click on the mapkey icon -> Paste Button Image

Here I'm taking the red arrow picture from my graphic program into pro/e:

In the graphic program you used to create the image, go Edit -> Copy / press CTRL+C.

Edit -> Customize screen; Right click on the mapkey icon -> Paste Button Image
