Machine kinematics Vs Vericut

I have a question about multi-axis machining simulation. We all know Proe Mechanism capabilities have been integrated with Pro/NC but it seems to run only NCL files ('machine play'). I am new to multi-axis machining but i think it is highly recommended to verify postprocessed G-code instead NCL code.

Should i stick to Vericut or take a deeper look into Machine Kinematics? I have read some posts about the lack of functionality ofthe embeddedvericut in Proe, regarding the accuracy of the simulation, but i want to check collisions basically.

Thanks in advance.

You need to upgrade your vericut to the full version in order to run the machine simulation to check for crashes, it is quite pricey if i recall
