Layer status detail view

Does any1 know how i can make the layer status of a detail view difrentthen the status of its parent view?

As far as I know there no way to change the layer status. It's like the message says.

Unless you break the relation parent/child. To make the detail view a general one. Then you can change the layer status.

In my opinion that is stupid.


A projection view has also a parent/child relation with a other view. And you can change the status of a projection and also of a auxiliary view. Why not of a detail view?
