Icon transparency

Hello again,

This time I have another question regarding icons...

Is there a way to copy pictures into the ProE icon editor (it in 'customize screen') while keeping the transparency?
I tried .ico, .gif, and .png. But when pasting the image into the icon editor the transparency is always lost

I have made a lot of custom icons in ProE and want to save them to a format I can easily import back when I need them again in the future.
