How to remove a skeleton km number

joyce

New member
Hello, everybody. Because of my erro operation, there is a
skeleton km number in windchill.
For example, the assembly is 110000v000, and it has a
skeleton named 110000v000_skeleton_0001.After i checked in
them, Now in the windchill system ,there is a part named
km11000_skeleton_0001. How to remove it?

Thank you in advance

if it is not used anywhere else or you don't want it simply delete it if you have rights or ask your administrator to do that.

Thank you.
But when i delete it, there is a message " need to delete
the latest version 12,13,14.".
In the windchill , i can only see the last version 14. So
how to delete the version 12,13?
Is there any simple way to resolve the problem?
As i know, if there is no km number in windchill, for
example 120000v000, i just need to check out, and check
in again .there will be km120000v000 in the windchill.
so if there is a way like this to delete the skeleton km
number?

I don't know how your numbering methodology."km numbers" are your company methodology.
I also don't understand how "km120000v000" is generated when u check-in "120000v000" as you mentioned.
