Can some please help me to get the mass column in Bill Of Material while creating the detail of an assembly. Please give the detailed solution with an example(ie; Step by Step Procedure)

Thanks in advance

Create a relation in your detail parts; weight = mp_pro_mass.

Then use the weight parameter in your BOM repeat region.

WEIGHT - pro_mp_mass

The first thing you need to do is create a repeat region within a table in your drawing format. One column should have the parameter of asm.mbr.weight. This column will show your weight.

Then, follow these instructions from within your part file to calculate the mass and add the weight parameter to your part:

 1. <LI =Msonormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in">Open part and drawing of part with appropriate format. Within the part [/I]file:<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

2. Edit - Setup - Mass Properties
a. Enter material density.
b. Hit OK
c. Click
