How do you enable Tolerance Mode

swingandmiss

New member
The Tolerance Mode option is grayed out in the modify tolerance dialog box.

I have set tol_display to yes.
I have set tol_mode to nominal.

I am trying to change the tolerance mode on driven dimensions.

I am using Pro/E (datecode M150) on XP.

I have tried every thing I can find in this forum and on google.

Thanks for the help.

You will need to enter the drawing dtl file (right-click on th background, properties& drawing porperties) - there is an option there called tol_display which also needs to be set to yes.

The tol_display in the config.pro enables you to modify the tolerances directly in the model by choosing edit (not edit definition),highlighting the dimension required & selecting properties.

The tol_display in the drawing dtl file does the same for drawing mode.
