For those of you that work directly with fab shops, have you presented them with drawing that use hole tables and is there a positive response? Edited by: jelston
Have used hole tables with many fab shops and have never had a problem with it in any way. Fab shops who do check that parts (not always done by all suppliers, some are just not as good as others) tend to like hole tables, it cuts down the amount of info on the views, thereby making them clearer.
Something else I just thought of. I often do a seperate sheet that just details the holes that are in a hole table. This generally adds to the clarity of the drawing....
