I have a master / layout part that is used to create
multiple derived parts by insert>part.
Dimensions used in creating features and sketches of the
master can be picked up in the derived part and used in
the equations.
How can I do the same with a defined global variable from
the master?
Example:
In the master part I go to equation and define
"WallThickness" = 0.75
Create new empty part
Go to Insert > Part and insert the master
I then want to be able to use "WallThickness" in
equations inside the derived parts.
