Family Table drawing dimension

I have a drawing of a family table of parts that I need to reference the table from the generic part. I would like to retain the ability to alter the generic part from the drawing dimension for features that are controlled with the family table. But I need the dimension to not show up. So if I am controlling a radius with the family table, I need the dimension to show "Radius", or whatever I type in there instead of the value on the generic part. I thought I came across a bit of code to put in front of the dimension in the properties that would cut it out, but I can't seem to find it again. Any thoughts? Thanks,
Casey
