Extrude default depth in Sheetmetal

Anyone know if you can change the default extrude depth in sheetmetal to a "thru next"?


I don't find Blind depth in sheetmetalto be useful as a default setting.

In smt part mode:


Edit >Setup>SMT Setup>Parameters


Set "SMT_DFLT_DEPTH_OPTION" to "Thru next"


You can save this setings in Start_Part file

This doesn't seem to work any longer in WF3 with the new dashboard interface. I still get the blind option with the "Thru next" option in the setup.


I know it worked in the pre WF3 dialog box menu.

Yes, I also got the same result in WF3.0. But I think there should be a way out for this.
