Extrude( add material) in assembly

there is a subassembly of four metal part . on which using the plastic moulding a cap like feature is to be created. the plastic feature part does not exist independently. it will be formed in assembly only.

ok! it still has to be a seperate part. If you add an empty part to your .asm , then you can "activate" it so you can modell in asm mode. (right click on the parts name in the modelltree , then choose- "activate" )

Be careful with your references thoo...

Hi
Why don't you try to create the core and cavity features
using Manufacturing----Mold Design. This is the most
suitable way to create a cavity for certain part.

i dontneed to add cavity

i have to add feature to create a part with in assembly itself (no seperate part)
