Edge display, Highlight mode

Is anyone know how to switch off the highlight mode in edge display? Highlight mode remains even i quit the edge display....

I did not find the config option for this yet, but I did change the color to something less annoying. Seems to be enough of a difference for me...

Set the config option prehighlight to off. This will turn off this feature.
