Drawing template views

Is it possible to create views in Drawing <B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Template[/B] other than General and Projection views.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
(Example: Partial, Detail views).Any answer would be appreciated.

You can make section views. You can't do partial or detail views because you have to be able to pick on geometry to create those views.

Shivakumar,

If I get you correctly, you already have a detailed drawing for a part. If you wish to make a drawing for a family part, then choose the drawing as the template for the family part.

e.g. Drawing for general part : AB1234-00

Drawing for Family part AB1234-01, uses drawing AB1234-00 as template.

In such cases the detailed views will also be included along with the family dimensions and features.

I hope I have got it right.
